With Mother's Day fast approaching...you know the rest...I will skip to my musings...
I love my Mom dearly. She is one fantastic human being.
STORY TIME!
When I was 17 years old, my Mom and I went to Macy's to shop...pretty typical Saturday.
Somehow we got separated. I was in the furniture section and all of the sudden I realized that I had not seen her for quite some time. I was zoning out. Not uncommon.
So, I got up and began to walk around the store. I must have been emotional that day because I immediately started to panic. I still have no idea why I felt so weepy and clingy, but I knew that I NEEDED to find my Mommy.
I probably only looked for 20 minutes or so, but it felt like hours. I was embarrassed that I was crying in Macy's and I was panicked that she left me in the store, and a whole bunch of other emotions that were completely ridiculous.
So, finally I spotted her across the store and I ran over to her...not caring that the sales ladies were staring...and I hugged her. She hugged me and asked what was the matter and told me It was going to be OK, not even knowing why in the heck her teenage daughter was crying in Macy's.
Apparently she had gone into the pillow section and we probably just missed each other a million times.
Moral of the story: I love my Mommy...and I am a freak. Yay!
I also love my Mommy because she does my laundry.

This is probably the main reason I will not be moving out until I have my bachelors degree.
