As I got ready, I thought of the things that could hinder my plans...
1. Dad needs help
2. No Car
3. No clean clothes
4. No money
First, I talked to Dad for a while and weaseled my way out of helper duty.
Next, I made sure that no one needed the car for the rest of the day.
After that, I looked in the laundry room and found clean clothes...thank you Mommy.
Lastly, I checked my balance online. Good to go.
There are three main ways you can go. I chose Highway 26 to Seaside. Seaside was cloudy and yuck, so I continued onto Fort Stevens. Beautiful.
I went to all the forts and all the bunkers. So much fun.
I drove up to Astoria. They were having a Farmer's Market...Holy Crap...They must have known I was coming. I got smoked salmon, banana bread, and other little treats. Yum.
To keep me occupied on this trip, I listened to my book on tape. The hour and a half trip there felt really short. Yipppeee.
Great day.
I took pictures but they are on film, so I won't be able to see them for a while...
I did however take 1 picture with my laptop. I was visiting the sea lions.
