He is a rescue at Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary.
If I had to choose a favorite...
it would be Chip.

I love the fact that he is almost all white
but he is the easiest to groom.
Usually it's the other way around.

I have been listening to Adele's new album quite a bit lately.
These lyrics do not apply to me at all,
but I think they are so beautiful.

I am thinking about doing a day trip
to my favorite place on earth (see below picture)--
to kind of escape, but also I think a road trip would
help me pump myself up to finish this term strong.

This is what horses do on the first nice, sunny day of the season.

These guys are my project horses at Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary.

They are still a part of a court case,
so we can't really name them and get
attached, but we can groom them up real nice
and teach them how to be respectful.

These are the first pictures I took of these guys
a month or so ago.
They have come a long way since these photos.

He is such a ham.
We have sort of become attached
to him, but he is so darn sweet.

I ride on Friday's at my
teacher's place and
when I got there yesterday,
Izzy showed me this...

It was so cool. If we lifted up the
skin, we could see the bone.

My teacher called Dr. Braat, and he is so awesome that
he was able to be there in 3 1/2 minutes.

This is a horse on drugs.
Notice the droopy eyes, the leaning legs,
and the disheveled hair.

Next term, I get to help knock up
a mare,
and hopefully help deliver
a baby

When a mare is close to parturition,
we go to watches every 2 hr, 24 hrs a day
