These guys are my project horses at Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary.

They are still a part of a court case,
so we can't really name them and get
attached, but we can groom them up real nice
and teach them how to be respectful.

These are the first pictures I took of these guys
a month or so ago.
They have come a long way since these photos.

This is "Brando."
He is such a ham.
We have sort of become attached
to him, but he is so darn sweet.

I ride on Friday's at my
teacher's place and
when I got there yesterday,
Izzy showed me this...

It was so cool. If we lifted up the
skin, we could see the bone.

My teacher called Dr. Braat, and he is so awesome that
he was able to be there in 3 1/2 minutes.

This is a horse on drugs.
Notice the droopy eyes, the leaning legs,
and the disheveled hair.

A little numbing meds...

What a nice suture...

Hopefully this colt will respect fences now...

This is Playmate.
She has her tongue hangin'
out the entire time I am riding her.
She's classy.

This was the first time

I couldn't take a dog home

I do love all birds,
but seagulls are crazy!
