Orgasmatron

  • Dad brought up the orgasmatron today (I will not go into the definition). I wish I had never looked it up.
  • I think Jeopardy is fantastic. I like it better when I know the answers.
  • It was TOO hot today.
  • I drank a whole raspberry margarita! YAY!

Expert Joanna

I have decided that I need to become an expert on a subject...I don't know what subject though.

I am sick and tired of knowing a little about a lot.

I have some subject ideas:

1. Riddles
2. Origin of Sweatpants
3. Cranes and Other Large Birds
4. Knots
5. The Great Depression

Hmmm...

Diana F+

My new Holga camera is being difficult. I turned in 2 rolls of film and they could only get 5 pictures off. I need more light apparently.

Here is one that turned out.

I love it.

I can't get too upset...I knew when I bought the camera it was unpredictable.

Animals of all shapes and sizes

I have been house-sitting and dog-sitting recently. No internet. Turns out I CAN live without it. Yay!

Here is the dear dog I am watching...

Hi! My name is Pudge.

I miss pups.

That is why I am dog walking on the side now. I found a older lady who needed someone to walk her labradoodle. His name is BAMA as in Alabama...and he is awesome. I do not have a picture yet...but soon.

I went over to the bird park...I love the dang birds. I don't know why.

A beautiful crane flew down and settles in the water.

These were some awesome hissing geese behind me.

I am angry.

Tool

I had to explain to my Mom what "Tool" means. As in: "He was such a tool." Not fun. All I could come up with was "man-bitch."

I plan on taking advantage of my semi-full tank of gas and the good weather...

Something fun is going down.

Beach

I ventured to the beach today. I woke up this morning and decided that I could not stay in the house...

As I got ready, I thought of the things that could hinder my plans...

1. Dad needs help
2. No Car
3. No clean clothes
4. No money

First, I talked to Dad for a while and weaseled my way out of helper duty.

Next, I made sure that no one needed the car for the rest of the day.

After that, I looked in the laundry room and found clean clothes...thank you Mommy.

Lastly, I checked my balance online. Good to go.

There are three main ways you can go. I chose Highway 26 to Seaside. Seaside was cloudy and yuck, so I continued onto Fort Stevens. Beautiful.
I went to all the forts and all the bunkers. So much fun.

I drove up to Astoria. They were having a Farmer's Market...Holy Crap...They must have known I was coming. I got smoked salmon, banana bread, and other little treats. Yum.

To keep me occupied on this trip, I listened to my book on tape. The hour and a half trip there felt really short. Yipppeee.

Great day.

I took pictures but they are on film, so I won't be able to see them for a while...

I did however take 1 picture with my laptop. I was visiting the sea lions.

Hey Bert

I need to get more sleep at night.

I do not know why it is so hard for me to get to sleep.

Once I fall asleep...it's done. I could sleep for 2 days.

Tricky son of a bitch.

On the Sesame Street show, Ernie bugs Bert all the time while he trying to go to sleep. I would slap Ernie and tell him: "If you don't stop it.. I am going to shave your head and wash your shirt in bleach."

I don't have a puppet roommate I can blame my sleeping troubles on.

My Class Projects

I have to do a project for my Special Education class. It has to do with media's portrayal of special needs children. I think I have an angle worked out...media leaves out the less glamorous or newsworthy disabilities? Maybe? There has been so many movies/TV shows/news stories about high functioning autism/down syndrome/savants etc...What about the others?

I have Forrest Gump, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and The Other Sister...I also have a handful of news stories about vaccines and autism.

You're So Pretty

I am in a much better mood. It's Friday! I never understood before why people looked forward to Friday so much. Now I do. At 5pm when I get off work, I am very happy. When I get home, I can relax. Before, when I had nothing to do, I always felt guilty about relaxing. Now, I can truly do nothing and enjoy it.

Random Musings:

I always felt bad about killing the last of the lemmings.

I want to go to a bar right now.

I wrote something very stupid here and erased it. It was very stupid.

I am terrified of a break in/intruder.

I used the word betterment in class the other day.

I insist that the kids I babysit for - say please.

I say CHILLAX way to much.

Just shut up!

I have decided not to continue with my confessions...well, truthfully I ran out. My life has been pretty nerfy.

So today was exhausting. I left the house at 7am and didn't return until 8:30pm. I was babysitting the whole time.

I usually don't feel exhausted or down...but this evening was intense. I watched Bones and ate my Amy's dinner to decompress...That helped soooo much. Arrrrggg it did. (Sorry, I channeled my pirate friend Igor for a second there)

I have no pictures from today...but here are some of my favorite videos/pictures from the past year.

-chicken that plays tic tac toe-

Jon and Laura were at the house when I arrived home today. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I showed my family the effects in Photo Booth. Laughs ensued.

How I love my family.

Alaska

I have been wanting to go to Alaska since FOREVER. (Yes, I was yelling FOREVER)

So, I have decided to give myself a gift when I graduate...

Yay! Alaska! I am going up the Alaska Highway into Yukon Territory to Fairbanks. It takes 7-10 days to drive there but most of my time is going to spent doing stuff along the way. I will not be spending a whole bunch of time at my destination.

Oh, and I am going alone.

Yo

Here is what boredom will get ya...

I don't know why I love this picture so much.
It reminds me of Dobby from HP.

Now this one is just creepy.

My Mommy

With Mother's Day fast approaching...you know the rest...I will skip to my musings...

I love my Mom dearly. She is one fantastic human being.

STORY TIME!

When I was 17 years old, my Mom and I went to Macy's to shop...pretty typical Saturday.
Somehow we got separated. I was in the furniture section and all of the sudden I realized that I had not seen her for quite some time. I was zoning out. Not uncommon.

So, I got up and began to walk around the store. I must have been emotional that day because I immediately started to panic. I still have no idea why I felt so weepy and clingy, but I knew that I NEEDED to find my Mommy.

I probably only looked for 20 minutes or so, but it felt like hours. I was embarrassed that I was crying in Macy's and I was panicked that she left me in the store, and a whole bunch of other emotions that were completely ridiculous.

So, finally I spotted her across the store and I ran over to her...not caring that the sales ladies were staring...and I hugged her. She hugged me and asked what was the matter and told me It was going to be OK, not even knowing why in the heck her teenage daughter was crying in Macy's.

Apparently she had gone into the pillow section and we probably just missed each other a million times.

Moral of the story: I love my Mommy...and I am a freak. Yay!

I also love my Mommy because she does my laundry.

This is probably the main reason I will not be moving out until I have my bachelors degree.

3rd Post of the Night?

This has got to be the sweetest dog in the world.

Her name is Mama Pez.

Nick at Night

I love the fact that Home Improvement is on all the time..especially when I am bored or can't sleep. Yay!

Joanna the Tutor

Today was my second time tutoring. Holy Cow.

Last week....they were VERY nice to me.

This week....they were VERY real with me.

I found out ALOT about the kids lives outside Saturday School.

One kid is the oldest of 5...he is only 9 years old. His Mom is pregnant with another and they just moved. He told me that he likes the new place better because there is less partying into the night. He could not sleep at the other house because people would come over at all hours of the night.

Another kid was just...I don't know...interesting. Apparently his Dad is in jail and his Mom's boyfriend is currently in the process of going to jail. I cannot imagine.

Anyway...I went home and napped for three hours so I could stay awake for babysitting. I am currently sitting in the living room of the Jensen's. Will (7) and Dylan (5) are in their beds playing their video games. I am not a bad babysitter I swear...I just want them to like me. :)

The parents will not be home until 2 am...so I will surf the internet for a couple hours...then put on a mint julep mask...then surf the internet for another 2 hours...then I will walk around the house looking at all the pictures...then I will get a big glass of water...then I will surf the internet for another hour or so. I don't know how I feel about this.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow is Sunday. I love you

So, Dr. Dapo (the teacher at Saturday School) asks all the kids and helpers to come up with a word for the day.

My contribution was Humor.
